MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko approved a gambling business development concept. The concept was presented by Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky at a session on 9 March. “We need to have an honest and open system of gambling business. At the same time we need to ensure tough responsibility.

MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed decree No 143 to regulate taxation in Belarus, the press service of the head of state told BelTA. The basic rate of the united tax that self-employed businessmen can choose to pay instead of several individual taxes is now calculated in Belarusian rubles instead of euros. More

Five countries to partake in AtomExpo Belarus 2010
MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) - Over 60 companies and institutions from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Germany will take part in the second international exhibition and conference AtomExpo Belarus 2010. Illaria Vecher’s personal exhibition in Kyiv a success
KYIV, 10 March (BelTA) – A personal exhibition of icons and pictures by a Belarusian artist Illaria Vecher took place at Kyiv-Pechersk sanctuary in Kyiv on 5-8 March. About 30 works of the artist were praised both by the visitors and the administration of the Ukrainian Museum of Book and Print, which provided the exhibition area. More

Belarus wins nine medals at CMAS Finswimming World Cup in Hungary
MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won one gold, three silver and five bronze medals at the CMAS Finswimming World Cup in Hajduszoboszlo, Hungary, BelTA learnt from the DOSAAF press office. Aleksei Skalozub, a student of the DOSAAF Minsk children’s and youth water sports school, picked up gold and silver medals. More
